New rules for shipping frozen sperm to Czech

Recently, some new rules went into effect, making it much harder for Czech IVF reproductive clinics to accept shipments of frozen sperm (from a partner or a donor) if the sperm originates in a non-European Union country.

The result of these new regulations is that several of the most common shipping companies and sperm banks in the US stopped offering shipping services to the Czech Republic.

There are still a few options available – both for shipping your own sperm (or your partner’s sperm) and for donor sperm, but even if you’ve shipped in the past, don’t take it for granted that you’ll be able to do it the same way again in the future.
